Spanning 500 acres along the Nantahala River and intersected by the Appalachian Trail, NOC offers a diverse range of activities, including whitewater rafting, kayaking, zip-lining, mountain biking, and hiking. Recognized by National Geographic Adventure as "One of the Best Outfitters on Earth," NOC provides guided trips on several Southeastern rivers, such as the Chattahoochee, Chattooga, French Broad, Ocoee, and Pigeon. The center also features outdoor schools and training programs, including paddling instruction, swiftwater rescue, and wilderness medicine courses. On-site amenities include riverside dining at River's End Restaurant and shopping at the Outfitter's Store. With its commitment to adventure, education, and conservation, NOC has become a hub for outdoor enthusiasts and a training ground for Olympic athletes.
